Barcombe Bonfire SocietyMembership AreaOur Membership process is very straightforward, so please don't get scared off, and remember that anonymous donations remain as welcome - and are needed! - as they always have been. Thanks. The key point is that to take part in any BBS events (especially out-meetings and Barcombe Bonfire Night itself) you must be a formally-registered Member of the Society. Nothing too difficult about achieving this:
Please note that anonymous donations remain most welcome if you wish to contribute but don't wish to be a Member. Just put donations in the envelopes left with you during the house-to-house rounds (or any envelope) and leave them at the same places as membership forms (see above). However, you can also be a Patron - equivalent to a Household membership, but for a membership fee of £20 or more - without publicity being obligatory. Just fill out a Membership form as standard for Patron membership then write "No Publicity" anywhere on the form. You may be interested in referencing the current draft of the Barcombe Bonfire Society Rules. Please note that it can't be guaranteed these are up-to-date; they should be treated as a guideline only. Thank you very much for your support in our new venture. The BBS Committee |
