Getting involved with BBS

If you think it could be fun to get involved with BBS and want to help us make Barcombe Bonfire Night the special event it is, or even better (surely not possible), then we would love to hear from you. You don't need to join the committee or make any permanent commitment - you could just help us out for one event or for a particular type of event. And most of Barcombe is, of course, a member of BBS already.

There will be events happening throughout the year which need people to run them, so let one of the committee know of your interest and preferences (if any) and we'll put you on the list. Or maybe even give you something to do straight away if you're lucky.

When Bonfire season comes around there is obviously real Bonfire-related stuff happening. We definitely need torch-makers, fire-builders, etc, and on the night procession marshals, roadblock attendants, you name it! There will be many jobs that are open to anyone regardless of age. We love bringing the tradition back into the heart of the village, so do let us know if you (or your children) are interested.
